ATK Mohun Bagan is a new organisation that was worked as a result of the merging of two football teams from Kolkata, ATK and Mohun Bagan. Although the Mariners did not welcome the ATK prefix surpassing the name of one of India’s most illustrious football organisations, Green and Maroons supporters have been outspoken taxing a new nomenclature. There have been numerous protests, and now the supporters’ tenacity might finally be acknowledged. While some are still unhappy.
